Sheridan Road Construction: Wilmette area drivers should expect
construction traffic along Sheridan Road near the Baha'i Temple, as
demolition of a retaining wall and storm sewer reconstruction is
set to begin. Two-way traffic is planned for the east side of the
road while water mains are installed along the west side of the
road. No mention of when the work will be complete- we'll let you
know as soon as we do!

What to Do:

Pets on parade this weekend!
At the Chicago Botanic Garden

Visit the Garden this Saturday to catch this once a year event (and
the only time your dog is allowed into the Gardens) featuring the
cutest canines on the North Shore.
The Reindog Parade is part of the Garden's Wonderland Express
event, running through the end of the year.

Put Your Kids In Their PJ's and Check Out the Drive Thru Holiday
Light Show, sponsored by the Village of Vernon Hills in cooperation
with the Cuneo Museum and Gardens. This annual event runs evenings
through January 5th. (The light show is closed on Christmas Eve and
Christmas Day.)

The road through the Cuneo Estate is illuminated by lighted figures
of animals, elves and traditional characters from children's
stories. Thousands and thousands of lights will twinkle as you
drive through the museum grounds!

Insider Info: There's a special combination Light Show/Museum Tour
event scheduled for December 11 - 16, when you can enjoy a special
indoor holiday event, as the estate is decked out for the season.
Admission to this evening tour is an additional $7 per person.
