phone number from directory assistance -- which has always been a

total rip off.

Now, make that directory assistance call from your cell (or home)
phone for nada... And, It's called Google-411.

Free Directory Assistance
So, as you find yourself strutting around the North Shore with
something like that new restaurant in mind and no access to the
internet or phone book...
Relax...no worries...here's what you do:

1. Dial 800-GOOG-411(800-466-4411) from any phone

2. Tell the automated voice the city, state, and business name
3. Google-411 does the rest.
(Keep in mind, though, some phone plans do apply a charge.)

The Google 411 service has voice recognition that's amazingly

accurate so you won't have to pay those annoying $1-plus

charges from your phone company.

To make North Shore life easier just program 800-466-4411 into your
cell phone now, and name it "GOOGLE 411" - there's your free directory
assistance at the touch of a finger!

Stick around the North Shore and head over to Evanston for the
Lakeshore Arts Festival, this Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
at Dawes Park.

It's a great festival - large enough to see some great art, but small
enough you can take in over a couple hours, then hit downtown Evanston
for lunch or dinner -- Tapas Barcelona, anyone?

Our advice? Park for FREE in the Northwestern University ramp near
Clark Street Beach, and skip waiting for the shuttle - it's just a
three block walk south to the festival.
