Sick of searching for mall parking at Old Orchard? Trust us - as avid
visitors to this mall, we're telling you - park on the west side of
the mall. The Maggiano's/Barnes and Noble lot is always a zoo, and
there's fabulous surface and covered parking just on the other side
of Nordstrom! Save your sanity!

We love our Insiders - which is why we're looking out for you when
construction starts on the Edens. If you have to
get downtown, you can stick to Sheridan Road and Lakeshore Drive.
Or, take the Peterson Road exit and meander your way east to Lakeshore
Drive. Or just take the dang train! Check out Metra Schedules and Maps

The project, slated to begin in less than a week, will reduce the
Edens to two lanes each way from Lake-Cook Rd. to the Junction. It'll
last for about six weeks, and then begin in full force next Spring.

Here's a couple of great autumn activities for you and your family
this weekend:

Autumn on the Farm - Pumpkin Sales at Wagner Farm
Beginning this Sunday at 9 a.m., you can start making those pumpkin
purchases at Wagner Farm, at 1510 Wagner Road, conveniently located
just off of Lake Ave., between Wilmette and Glenview. You can also get
your hands on cornstalks, Indian corn, gourds and more. For more

Richardson Farm - World's Largest Corn Maze

Face it - corn mazes aren't made for Cook

County. So head to spring Grove and have a

blast trying to solve one heck of a huge corn

maze. The proprietors work hard every year at

creating bigger and better mazes to explore,

and this year is no exception. There's a free

picnic area, and there's a bevy of activities and

games for the kids to play. Want to really

challenge yourself? Go at night - there's

nothing like a maze by flashlight! You can even

take in a campfire with s'mores -check it out!

It's just $9.50 for adults and $7 for kids.

Take A Peek At More On The North Shore

Need to see what else is out there? Lake Bluff is sponsoring a great
free walking tour this Sunday, from 2 - 4 p.m. Join the tour at the
Vliet Center for a tour of the train station, Village Hall, Village
Green, Village Market, Griffith Building (Gary Lawrence Interiors) and
Sankey Building - Merchants Block (Holly's Restaurant). For more
