Not Again...
Yes, Again

Say it ain't so...get ready for more delays in Deerfield,
as bridgework on the Lake-Cook Rd. overpass is scheduled to begin.

Traffic on Lake Cook Road will be reduced from three lanes to two
in each direction from west of the southbound I-294 entrance and
exit ramps to east of Wilmot Road.

The two left turn lanes at the Lake Cook Road intersections with
the I-294 northbound and southbound entrance and exit ramps will go
down to a single lane during construction.

Please Don't Toss It - Recycle It

If your tech trash is piling up, do the right thing and bring it in
for recycling instead. Items accepted include answering machines,
blenders, calculators, cameras, cell phones, coffee makers, curling
irons, lap tops, toasters and TVs.

Where to Go

Hit the Slopes at the Snowflake Club

Maybe they want to go and you don't.
No biggie, the Snowflake Club at Williams Ski Haus runs
well-organized weekend skiing and snowboarding trips for kids 8 - 16.

Every weekend it's a different mountain. All you have to do is pay,
pick up and drop off. All the details are arranged online or over the phone.

Think Tank Last Call

Hurry up - the "Think Tank" traveling exhibition closes January 7th!
Kids get to "exercise their creative thinking through all sorts of
zany activities, including puzzles, mirror magic, optical illusions
and more." Unlike most of the museum, this exhibit is geared towards
older-elementary kids, ages 7 - 11.
