Insider Tips Of The Week

Want Your Hair Color To Last and Make Straightening Easier?*

Guess what – Water is the biggest culprit in color fading. No this doesn’t mean don’t get it wet – but when you do:

  • Use shampoo and conditioner that protects the color especially during the first two weeks after fresh color.

  • Also if you are a slave to straightening hair using a blow dryer and want to avoid the bicept workout.
  • Use a brush with an oval not round shaft and all you’ll have to do is do a quarter turn.

  • *These tips brought to you by Aduko at the Gordon Salon in Ravina

    Dog Lovers

We know mud is the nemesis of the season. Here’s the key.
  • Mats are your new best friend.
  • Load up on them.
  • Put the rubber black industrial ones underneath the more decorative kind.
  • Teach your dog to wait for the paw wiping.
  • Use your old towels and some warm water.
  • Get in the grooves
  • NEVER let the mess settle.
