outdone themselves!

Well, that and Lipstick Vine, Goldfish Plant, Peacock Plant and
Cape Primrose as well. Gesneriads are a species of exotic plants

for the house at their sale!

Check out the Park Avenue Plunge in Highland Park. This is
your chance to take a dive int the chilly waters for a good cause.
The event supports the S.M.I.L.E. program, a grant program for
Highland Park's park district to make opportunities more affordable
for families in need.
Get this... there's even a winner for Best Costume!
You must be at least 16 to participate, but friends and family
members are encouraged to cheer while they sip hot chocolate
on shore!

Have You Ever Pet A Tuba?
Who needs to go the zoo when you can play with the
"animals" at a concert? The Music Institute of Chicago
is hosting a children's event this weekend in Evanston,
featuring the MIC's Orquestra de Samba as they perform
"The Little Train of the Caipira."
Children can visit with the performers prior to the concert
to learn about and touch the instruments, and even get
involved during the show, as a "student steam train"
takes over the concert hall!
