Sounds Like a Garden, But Looks Like Construction.



If you need to take the Edens, here’s a few tips:

• The left and center lanes will be closed, so merge to the right.
• Traffic will shift back to the center and left lanes, with right lane closures, in mid-June.
• Travel times will NOT be updated, as the sensors are buried in center lanes.
• All three lanes are expected to open from Old Orchard to Lake cook Rd. by the end of July. Further south, lanes will be closed until the end of August.
• Don’t scream too much when you don’t see construction workers throughout the entire 15-mile zone. It’s set up this way to avoid crashes.
