Any exercise guru knows that cross-country skiing is one of THE
best and most effective calorie burners around. Plus, it's a low impact,
big time total results body workout - and it's fun!
Sportsman's Country Club in Northbrook offers rental skis and
groomed cross-country skiing or snowshoeing paths! A six- to
eight-inch snowfall base is required (and given our recent snowfall, quite
