Ravinia Donors: Get Tickets Now to See Sting!

We all know every little thing he does is magic! Sting with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra featuring Maestro Steven Mercurio will appear at Ravinia Festival on July 17 and 18.

Singing for S'mores

Reform Cantors of Chicago presents Singing for S'mores, a benefit concert for OSRUI and URJ Camp Scholarships. Participants include Chicago area cantors and soloists, rabbis, youth choirs, and past OSRUI songleaders. Tickets available for purchase at BJBE, Sundays at Caruso or at the door. Checks can be made payable ato the American Conference of Cantors (note it is for the Campership Concert).

The Highland Park Historical Society will host its Homegrown Benefit Gala, Here's Lookin' At You. The Society will induct Highland Park native Stansfield Turner, former Director of the CIA, into the newly-established Hall of Fame as the "Person of the Year 2010" and basketball star Michael Jordan will be honored in absentia as the "Person of the Year 2009". Music will be provided by the Highland Park Pops Big Band and the Matt Nelson Jazz Trio, and the gala will also feature short films starring many of Highland Park's residents.

I stand corrected!!! My Bad

The information that NSI provided you with last week about cell phone numbers being released this month is an e-mail hoax and is not really true.

While it is a good idea to register you phone numbers - there is no timeline and the numbers are not going to be released - also, once you enroll it is permanent.
You can always look up information you receive in an e-mail at www.snopes.com to check the validity of it, it is a fantastic resource and one that I use often.
