In our first of many Insider Fashion Reports, we met with some of the North Shore’s leading fashion and beauty experts. The goal here is to help you determine what you can’t live without and where to get it. But most importantly these authorities are committed to helping you interpret trend and celebrate what’s best for you, rather than force-fitting runway to your rear.

For clothing we went to Nicchia (the Italian word for Niche) in Glencoe. Together, owners Maureen Lewis and Edye Gershman represent the ideal partnership between smart discerning stylist and most honest girlfriend custom tailored just for you. They are masters of fit, fabric, and flare. Being someone who never seeks store assistance - I was in awe watching them and their perfectly tuned staff in action.
