There are no excuses not to go to Gabe’s Backstage Lounge any night of the week…unless you are not twenty-one, of course. Gabe’s Backstage Lounge is one of the only hotspots in the North Shore open conveniently late, which is why it is high on our top ten list!

Let’s talk about what is most important…Booze and food! C’mon, that is the main reason why you leave your house on a hot summer night anyway. Instead of one boring drink special, Gabe’s Backstage Lounge has a variety of drink specials and changes nightly. The vodka lemonade is just an example of one of their specialty drinks, which gives this place a college-like feel. Their food also helps. Reading Gabe’s Backstage Lounge’s extensive menu can really get your mouth watering. They have typical yet delicious bar food such as home made pizza, buffalo wings, a $2.50 cheeseburger, and more. And for those watching their girlish or mannish figures, Gabe’s Backstage Lounge has healthier items like a garden salad, veggie basket, and shrimp cocktail!

So once your belly is full and your mind slightly intoxicated, Gabe’s Backstage Lounge provides the atmosphere to chill or play. If you feel like lounging around on their comfortable seats, feel free! If you feel like playing pool or watching TV on their big screens, nothing is stopping you! On Wednesday and Thursday nights they have bean bag tossing. But for those who really want to chill and enjoy themselves, they should come on the nights with live music.

The live music truly makes Gabe’s Backstage Lounge unique. Tuesday nights are their Jam Nights. The manager, Jeff, refers to this night as, “Karaoke Jam Night.” Friday nights include a DJ, and the Saturday night special is always a live band.

Gabe’s Backstage Lounge is open Sunday to Thursday from 5 pm to 1 am. And open 5 pm to 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays. In case you were wondering, they also have a patio!!
