Pack up a picnic, grab an old sheet and take it all in. Here. NorthShoreInsider.com has put together our list of some of the best beaches around to help you take the guess work out of planning and spend more time enjoying!

- Glencoe Beach has limited parking available, but it’s FREE – parking passes aren’t necessary – just your will power to get up and get going early!
- The parking is located along a park above the beach that includes tennis courts and lots of green space.
- Another great perk? The beach staff operates a cart service from the lot to the beach, meaning you don’t have to lug everything down the bluff to the beach – or back up at the end of the day!
- There’s a well-equipped sand / waterplay area for kids, full-service concessions, beach house with ample bathrooms AND showers plus sand chair and umbrella rental.
