One of the hottest and most precious commodities of our time is peace. Peacefulness, peace of mind, making peace and maintaining peace requires everyday practice. Often, peace gets sacrificed in the course of life and re-gaining it means finding new resources.

You may be surprised to find out that there’s a spiritual Mecca, here on the North Shore – so much closer than Dharamsala. The Infinity Foundation, located in Highland Park is celebrating its 10th anniversary. In this period it’s become a haven for (volunteer) speakers and educators to impart their wisdom onto those looking to learn and stay on the beam.

I met with Nancy Grace Marder, Infinity’s Executive Director who enlightened me to some of the latest movements in achieving spirituality -- even in the places you’d least expect it.

1. In Your Workplace
When I heard this I laughed – workplace and wellness…are you kidding??? But, Nancy explained. Whether you take a class (with your co-workers of course), have the Infinity Foundation go on-site to your career temple or buy the CD’s you CAN learn how to be more peaceful, less stressed and productive at work.

2. With Your Kids
This is every parent’s nirvana. To have your kids be more peaceful within themselves and certainly with others. According to Nancy, kids are some of her best students. They have so little negative energy stored and so much willingness to learn and have fun with it. 3. Within YOU!!
Investing and re-investing in your own inner balance is too often a last priority. Fortunately, The Foundation goes to every effort to help you get what you want and need by providing mini-workshops, retreats, speakers, and on going courses so there’s always access to a spiritual learning and growing experience.
