No Matter How Big or How Small,
Every Business MUST Invest in This!
Plus: 4 Quick Tips To Better Branding
Competition is everywhere.
No matter what and no matter whether you’re a sole practioner, Mom and Pop location or mega corporation is not only unavoidable, its getting more intense.
One of the most effective and tangible (not to mention intangible) ways of staying ahead or breaking free of the pack is to consistently invest in your brand.
To help you with this process and ensure that your brand is tip top shape for the coming year, NorthShoreInsider.com met with
Mark Ingraham, graphic designer, branding expert and owner of Ingraham Creative in Evanston.
First Mark explained what a brand is – and while it may seem easy and obvious, it’s not as simple as it may appear. Mark makes it clears your brand is NOT your logo, or your tagline. It’s actually, the entire relationship that your “user” has with whatever product or service you offer. Its one of those “the whole is bigger than the sum of its parts” things.

To further illustrate the enormous power of branding, start counting for one week the number of North Face jackets you see Moms, Dads and Kids wearing around the North Shore – it unreal. If you’re still a non-believer visit your nearest Target, or test drive a VW and you’ll get it.
