Ravinia Festival Food Review
And You Thought Ravinia was about the Music...
An Insider’s Guide to Eats @ This Festival

As you walk through the front gates of Ravinia Festival, it’s hard to notice that anything new is even there. But that behind the silhouette of trees lies an amazing new feat of architecture designed for dining -- catering to any concertgoers’ cravings.
Its safe to say that the previous dining set up at Ravinia was a bit outdated and the food wasn’t worth the amount on the bill.
But NOW, there are 4 eateries inside the magnificent, wooden structure.

The main floor features a spacious and bright food court with some awesome individual pizzas for less than ten bucks. This is perfect snack during intermission or a whole meal to bring out on the lawn for a fair price.
If you’re feeling more adventurous check out the Park View restaurant on the second floor. You’ll get a truly unique view looking down on the huge mass of people on the lawn. This is the spot for serious people watching and you can still enjoy generous and scrumptious cuisine.

Mirabelle will inspire the artist in you. Known for its amazing service and chef’s table cuisine, this place speaks to the foodie who is about high quality seasonal fare like salmon with wild mushrooms and well prepared trays of domestic cheeses. Mirabelle is more of an eating experience for one with an appetite rather than those expecting just a snack.
Overall the new pavilion blends in perfectly with the meticulous landscaping of the park. The modern building provides huge windows at the Park View Restaurant and even a food court on the main level. The architecture is warm and not overdone and finally the food lives up to its prices!
You may go to Ravinia for the music – but now the experience is in perfect concert with the food.
