Sunset Foods is undoubtedly one of the longest standing businesses, just celebrating 70 years this past weekend. See the celebration video here, and hear more about it from Store Manager Michael Sohovich.

A Bit of History:

In 1937, the Cortesi family opened Sunset Foods in Highland Park. Today, the company, still privately owned has four locations (Highland Park, Lake Forest, Northbrook, and Libertyville) and almost 900 employees. Some employees have been with the company for 30 years+, while Michael with 17 years considers himself a near newbie.

If you don’t know the answer, just shop there… one time and you’ll know why. Sunset’s 70 years in business are evidence of an undying commitment to the best customer service. Starting today, yes today February 26th...The original Highland Park store will begin a major store renovation expected to last over the next three to four months. The store space in will be reallocated with construction on-going. By summer’s end the store’s more modern, glowing appearances will be ready to show off!
