Got A Daughter? Get This Book!
August 18th, 2008 by KellyHere’s a quick heads up for anyone who either A)has a daughter or B)has a husband, boyfriend or significant other who had a crush on Winnie Cooper:
Danica McKellar, who played the young female lead/tease(!) on “The Wonder Years,” is going to be at the Old Orchard Barnes and Noble Monday night for a book signing. The prose? Her tome, “Kiss My Math!” - a motivational guide for middle-school-aged girls facing down algebraic equations this school year.
Forget middle school. My daughter is just six, very nearly seven, and I’m thinking of heading over for a copy - I grew up afraid of numbers, and my grades showed it. Now? I’ve got kids looking for help on homework, and anything above basic algebra is a major issue. I’ve got to empower her from early on! (And give Winnie what for when it comes to bewitching my husband with her long, long hair and deep, soulful gazes into the camera!) Check it out - here’s the scoop:
