Kids Off School Monday?
October 10th, 2008 by KellyDepending on your school calendar, you could be staring down a three-day weekend. And while most of us Moms like to pretend that we loooooove all that extra time with the kiddies, usually, by that third day, you’re ready for at least a little structured activity.
Whole Foods has you covered – head over to their Northbrook location at the corner of Willow and Waukegan on Monday, October 13th for a Columbus Day “Let’s Roll!” event. It’s hands-on fun for the kids, and the best part? No mess in YOUR kitchen! They’ll be making Turkey-Time Tortilla Wraps, Vegetable Sushi, Lettuce Roll-Ups and Cinnamon Rolls.
You need to call 847.205.5353 to register for one of two times:
11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for 6-8 year olds
1:15-2:30 p.m. for 9-12 year olds
It’s $15 per kid, but a priceless way for you to get some kid-friendly entertainment and even let you get that Monday morning grocery shopping done on your own!
