My husband came back from a football practice pick-up to tell me the restaurant I have been waiting for all summer long has finally thrown open its doors! It’s the first Chop’t in the greater Chicago area – making its way from New York City and Washington, D.C. I haven’t had a chance to visit yet, but soon will - nonetheless, I wanted to share the good news – here’s what they have to say about themselves:

Our restaurant is a healthy alternative to fast food. You can create your own salad or wrap or choose from one of our chef designed choices. There’s over 80 ingredients and 32 dressings to choose from – everything is fresh and nothing is frozen. We also have a specially designed catering menu that even includes an option for your own personal salad chef and chopping station at your own event.
