Looking For A New Way To Ring In The New Year?
December 27th, 2007 by KellyNot everyone is up for champagne toasts and fireworks. And you don’t have to head downtown, either. North Shore Chicago has a number of great New Year’s Eve activities, from family skates to romantic dinners. And of course, there’s First Night in Evanston. There you’ll find all sorts of kid- and family-friendly options to keep you entertained as you celebrate the end of one year and the beginning of another.
We’ve also got a great list of local activities here on our site. Glenview’s Winter Carnival even has Spongebob Squarepants coming to skate with the kids!
And when you wake up New Year’s Day, do it with a bang - Waukegan has a Polar Bear Plunge event certain to clear the cobwebs!
If you’re sticking around town, there’s plenty to do - visit our holiday page and you’re sure to find a restaurant or ice rink that suits you!
