Main Street Station Offers Promotion To First 15 Buyers
October 12th, 2007 by JakeMain Street Station is a new condo development planned for downtown Evanston.
The developers, Bernard Katz and Associates, are building the luxury condominiums at the corner of Main Street and Chicago Avenue.
Buyers can take advantage of a new promotion at Main Street Station. The first five buyers will receive $5,000 worth of free upgrades and one year free maintenance.
The next five buyers will also receive one year of free maintenance and $2,500 in upgrades for the unit.
The next five buyers will receive six months of free maintenance and $2,500 dollars in upgrades.
One of the 15 first buyers will receive a free second parking space. The winner will be chosen by a drawing.
The Evanston condo market is facing the same challenges as other Chicago Condos around the city.
Sales are down across the region. A total of 224 condos were sold during the third quarter of this year, down by almost 15 percent from the same period last year.
Condo developers are facing longer turnover rates in Evanston. It now takes an average of 129 days to find a buyer for a condominium in the city, up from 94 just one year ago.
