Several types of floorplans are available at the Metropolitan of Skokie. You can choose one, two or three bedroom home on one of five floors, or claim one of the unique and exquisite penthouses for your own.

The idea for all the units, was to have airy and open spaces, 9 foot ceilings, outdoor balconies and exceptional finishes. Some of the amenities of the Metropolitan of Skokie are the private parking, personal storage space on each floor, meeting facilities and a private penthouse theater. On floor one, you will find an elegant lobby with two high-speed elevators that travel to each floor. Of course, security is also on the highest level, because of the monitoring systems installed on each floor.

All units have hardwood flooring, full size gas fireplaces with custom mantel and marble hearth, designer and recessed lighting throughout. All rooms are pre-wired for high-speed Internet and 8-line telephony. There is also an individual laundry room in every unit.

The appliances included in the kitchen are a dishwasher, microwave oven, gas range, refrigerator with ice maker, faucet and sink by Kohler and a 3/4 HP garbage disposal. For the kitchen, you can choose the flooring - hardwood or 12” x 12” ceramic tile flooring.

The master bath features a solid wood cabinetry in choice of styles and colors, 12” x 12” marble tile flooring, a Whirlpool tub, water closet and faucets by Kohler. There is also a full height shower surround in 12” x 12” marble tile and a glass shower door with chrome hardware. Of course, you also get designer bathroom accessories to include towel bar/paper holder and a full size mirror above the vanity.

The entire building is constructed with maximum energy efficiency in mind. All windows are made out of E-glass, have thermo pane double-hung, wood/aluminum clad and low-E sliding doors.

As you know, one of the best things about a condo is that you don’t have to worry too much about the some of the maintenance. Included as a service is maintenance of common areas of the building interior and exterior, greenbelts, walks, driveways, and utility lines. And snow removal.
